KAT is a parent-facilitated co-operative and your participation as a monitor is ESSENTIAL in making the KAT day a success.

Requirements by Class Number
Volunteer days are determined by the total number of classes your student(s) take.
1-3 Classes = 1 day or 2 half days
4-6 Classes = 2 days or 4 half days
7-9 Classes = 3 days or 6 half days
10 or more Classes = 4 days or 8 half days
*Combination of full and half days is permitted.

Parent Commitment Buyout
The baseline requirement is the Monitoring Position. Every family must serve in a volunteer role for one or two days, depending on their number of enrolled classes. If your family enrollment requries three or four days of service, you are required to serve at least two days and have the option to buy out the remaining one or two days at a rate of $75 per day to pay for a substitute.
Substitute Volunteers
We know many of you just LOVE being at KAT and can't wait to volunteer! If you would like to help our KAT day function successfully, please consider signing up as a Monitor Sub! If an emergency arises and a scheduled monitor cannot complete their shift, a substitute is called.
Monitor subs receive $37.50 for a half day shift and $75 for a full day.
