Michigan History
In this fun class, students will learn about Michigan’s history, landmarks, animals and more! Class time will include read-alouds with students then having hands-on activities and experiments based on the reading. Facts and ideas will come to life as they spend time together mapping, building, coloring and experimenting! Homework will be minimal, with a year-end project (building/painting/cooking/or lapbook, etc.) that will be shown in class. My goal for this class is that students will not only learn how and why Michigan exists, but also understand and appreciate all that our state has to offer!

Exploring Creation with Science Lower
I love how science points continuously to God our creator! It is exciting to be able to teach children about God’s creation and in that process learn more about God and His handiwork. The science topics will be on a 4-year rotation. They do not build on each other. Any loop can be taken at any time. Class time will
always include hands on experiments, demonstrations, and games to reinforce the learning. Between class times students will be expected to complete the reading and the homework. As a homeschooling mom, I know you are the educator and feel my responsibility is to provide the framework, experiments, group work, and basic knowledge to assist you in your child’s education.
