Exploring Creation with Science Lower
I love how science points continuously to God our creator! It is exciting to be able to teach children about God’s creation and in that process learn more about God and His handiwork. The science topics will be on a 4-year rotation. They do not build on each other. Any loop can be taken at any time. Class time will
always include hands on experiments, demonstrations, and games to reinforce the learning. Between class times students will be expected to complete the reading and the homework. As a homeschooling mom, I know you are the educator and feel my responsibility is to provide the framework, experiments, group work, and basic knowledge to assist you in your child’s education.

Martial Arts
All students begin at white belt level including parents. Progress depends on individual maturity, ability, age and perseverance. Registration includes the opportunity to attend any of our other classes held weekly at our other dojo locations. (Please see website for days, times and locations). Our program was modified 4 years ago from Taekwondo to Karate in order to provide a martial arts program for students to achieve any level of proficiency they desire. The system being taught is Tatsu Te Ryu Karate-Do and is based in Shotokan Karate. Most assignments are completed during class. Homework may include practice of katas (highly recommended) and scripture memorization, (among other suggestions). Parents are encouraged to take the class with their children. Belt tests are given to students who have pre-tested & shown readiness. Students who pass will receive an accredited belt rank at the end of each test. If requested, a Physical Education grade will be given at the completion of this course. (Students under the age of 7 require parent enrollment)

Homework will be limited to semester projects such as building with LEGOs/blocks, painting or drawing, food projects, etc. along with a verbal or written explanation of the project. The goal of this
