How do I file a tax return? What is a credit score? How much of my paycheck will be withheld for taxes? What's an APR? This consumer math curriculum answers all of these questions, and more! This is a practical math class that builds financial literacy in our students. This is math that your student will use. This course is geared toward upper level high school students who need another credit of math, or are interested in how to manage money as an adult. We will also discuss handling our resources in a God honoring way, and take a look at finances through a Biblical worldview.

This high school level college preparatory Algebra 2 course consists of lectures, homework assignments, problem set reviews, weekly quizzes and/or tests, group work, and mathematical journaling. Algebra 1 is a prerequisite of this course.

Middle School Math

This class is designed to prepare your student for pre-algebra—this book was specifically chosen as a transition to Mrs. Ohland’s pre-algebra and high school math classes. The weekly class will consist of a lecture, quiz, and a game and/or puzzle.

This Geometry course consists of lectures, homework assignments, problem set reviews, weekly quizzes and/or tests, group work, and mathematical journaling. The prerequisite for this high school level course is successful completion of Algebra 1.
