The Life of Christ

A comprehensive study of the earthly life and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. The course will focus on a chronological view of Christ’s life and ministry with emphasis on what it means to follow Christ today. A must for your middle school student!

Writing Workshop 2

This second level writing course will build on the concepts from Writing Workshop 1. Students will acquire additional skills to further enhance their writing and will learn more advanced techniques

General Science

Science education through the middle school years is critical. This one-year course will challenge students and help grow their understanding and appreciation of God’s creation. Full credit course with lecture, experiments, and testing to help prepare for higher level science courses.

Mixed Media Art

Students will learn and understand the elements and principle of design using various media. Lessons will revolve around God’s creation, scripture & church history. A must for art lover’s or those wanting to learn more!

Diving Deep into Literature

Students will develop of love for reading by exploring a variety of texts, both fiction and non-fiction, in a deep and meaningful way. A variety of engaging projects will allow students to apply their knowledge and skills in a fun and creative way.

Intermediate Math

This class is intended for 5th to 6th grade level students who need to continue to
strengthen, deepen and build their math skills and bolster confidence before they move onto
pre-algebra.

Middle School World History

In this history course, students will study creation to the Roman Empire following a story-based approach to see God’s hand and redeeming love at work from the very beginning. Hands-on projects, class discussion and lecture, writing, narration, timelines, and more! A fun way to delve into HIS-Story!

World Geography

Students will take a virtual trip around the world exploring diverse cultures of 15 countries. This is a fun, hands-on course that students will remember and want to take again!

Algebra 1

This high school level Algebra 1 course consists of lectures, homework assignments, problem set reviews, weekly quizzes and/or tests, group work, and mathematical journaling. Excellent instructor!

Gotta Know Grammar

Solid class about the rules of English grammar and how to use the rules in writing. Designed for 8th – 12th grade students who need to learn (or re-learn) the basics of grammar, go beyond the basics and learn more advanced concepts, and learn vocabulary along the way!

An introduction to digital photography through technique, aesthetic, and practice! An amazing course to help inspire creativity.

Students will learn about the Civil War to Industrial Revolution. Learning history has never been so much fun! Hands-on projects, music, food, writing, drawing, map work.

Middle School French

Middle School French 1 is a full immersion course focused on learning basic vocabulary in all the categories, expanding in-class conversation and enjoying various activities designed to create opportunities for the students to converse. Others areas of study will be incorporated including geography, art, math, and music.

Writing Workshop 1

This middle school writing course is designed to take students through the writing process and help them to become a confident and effective writer. Basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation will be addressed along with how to read and take notes.

Fitness and Sports

This class will encourage students to grow in
their understanding and
abilities of sports games while also being challenged to strengthen their fitness levels through cardiovascular, strengthening, and flexibility exercises.

High School US History

Students will journey from the discovery of the New World through the 20th century and encouraged to think, analyze, and discuss truths in American history. Textbook used is United States History: Heritage of Freedom in Christian Perspective, 2nd Edition by Abeka.
