Lisa Hyma

In this class, students will develop a love of writing by being exposed to a variety of writing types and activities to strengthen their writing abilities. Students will learn about the 6+1 traits of writing (ideas, word choice, fluency, voice, organization, conventions, and presentation) and use these to bolster their writing to the next level.

Students will work with high-quality and challenging literature that will hep stretch their minds and increase a love for reading. An engaging course to prepare students for that next level in reading and comprehension!

Students will develop of love for reading by exploring a variety of texts, both fiction and non-fiction, in a deep and meaningful way. A variety of engaging projects will allow students to apply their knowledge and skills in a fun and creative way.
